Which AI assistants work with GrowPanel?
Any MCP-compatible client. Claude.ai and ChatGPT connect with one-click OAuth. Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf and others work with the hosted server and an API key, or with the self-hosted package.
Do I need an API key?
Not for Claude.ai or ChatGPT: paste the URL, sign in and click Allow. Clients that need a Bearer token use your GrowPanel API key.
Can the assistant change things?
Yes. Beyond reports, the tools cover settings, webhooks, the team and data sources. The assistant can only do what your GrowPanel role allows, so a read-only user gets read-only access.
Is my data sent to the AI provider?
The answers the assistant fetches are shown to the model so it can explain them, like any other tool result. Your GrowPanel credentials never leave GrowPanel.
Is it free?
The MCP server is included on every plan, and GrowPanel is free until you're above $200k ARR.
