Two ways to connect
The Google Sheets route takes about ten minutes and needs no code beyond a copy-paste script. The Community Connector suits teams that want Data Studio to query GrowPanel directly.

Is it Looker Studio or Data Studio?
Both names refer to the same free product. Google renamed Looker Studio back to Data Studio in April 2026, and everything here works with either name.
Which method should I use?
The Google Sheets method is the quickest and needs no deployment. The Community Connector is for teams that want Data Studio to query GrowPanel directly.
How fresh is the data?
With the Sheets method, as fresh as your Apps Script trigger, for example every 4 hours. With the Community Connector, Data Studio caches data for up to 15 minutes and you can refresh any report.
Do I need Looker, the enterprise product?
No. Data Studio is Google's free reporting tool. Looker is a separate enterprise BI platform and isn't needed.
What does it cost?
Data Studio and Google Sheets are free, and GrowPanel is free until you're above $200k ARR.
