Customers
The Customers section provides a complete view of your customer base, from leads and trials to active subscribers and past customers. Use this section to explore individual customer records, understand customer journeys, and investigate specific accounts.
Customer list
The main Customers page shows all customers imported from your connected data sources:

Status tabs
Filter customers by their current status using the tabs at the top:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| All | All customers regardless of status |
| Leads | Customers who signed up but haven't started a trial or subscription |
| Trials | Customers currently in a trial period |
| Active | Customers with an active paid subscription |
| Past Due | Customers with failed or overdue payments |
| Canceled | Customers who previously subscribed but have since churned |
Customer table
By default the table shows these columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Created | When the customer record was first created |
| Primary email address | |
| Name | Customer name or company name |
| MRR | Current monthly recurring revenue |
| Total paid | Total amount paid by this customer to date |
| Country | Where the customer is based |
| Paid since | When the customer first started paying |
| Status | Current subscription status |
Click a column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order.
Columns size themselves to their content. Very long values, such as a long email address or a customer with many plans, are cut off with "…"; hover the cell to see the full text. If the columns don't fit on screen, scroll the table sideways.
Choosing columns
Click the columns button next to the CSV download button to choose which columns the table shows, and in which order:

- Tick or untick a column to show or hide it.
- Drag a column by its handle to move it. This works with a mouse and on touch screens.
- Click Apply to update the table. Reset goes back to the default columns.
Your choice is saved to your user and follows you to other browsers and devices. Each person on your team has their own.
Team default columns
Admins and owners can give the whole team the same starting point: set up the columns, then click Save as team default in the columns menu. Everyone who hasn't chosen their own columns sees the team default, including people who join later. The columns menu shows team default when that's what you're looking at.
Anyone can still adjust their own view on top of it. Reset takes you back to the team default. To stop using a team default, an admin clicks Remove team default, and everyone without their own choice goes back to the standard columns.
Columns and your privacy settings
If your privacy settings don't store customer emails, the Email column is greyed out in the columns menu and hidden from the table. If they only store customer IDs, Name is greyed out too, and Customer ID is shown instead as the column that links to each customer. Your column choice is kept, so the columns come back if you change the privacy setting later.
Besides the default columns, you can add:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Customer ID | The customer's ID in your billing system |
| ARR | Current MRR × 12 |
| Last active MRR | What the customer paid per month the last time they were paying. For churned customers, their MRR just before churning. See MRR filters |
| Plan | The plans of the customer's active subscriptions, shown as your plan groups |
| Billing frequency | Monthly, yearly, and so on |
| Currency | The currency the customer is billed in |
| Payments | Number of successful payments |
| State (US) | US state, for US customers |
| Trial started / Trial end date | When the trial started and ends (or ended) |
| Renewal date | When the active subscription next renews |
| Canceled | When the customer canceled |
| Past due since | When the customer's payment became overdue |
| Customer lifetime | How long the customer has been paying, from their first payment until today (or until they canceled) |
| Cancel reason | The reason given when canceling |
| Data source | Which connected billing system the customer comes from |
| Custom variables | Any custom variable on your customers, such as HubSpot or billing metadata fields |
